Haiti - Gold Cup 2025 : Pre-match press conference and coach's reactions to the 2026 World Cup draw (videos)

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. (local time), or 6:00 p.m. in Port-au-Prince, French coach Sébastien Migné took part in his first-ever press conference in the Gold Cup finals with Haiti, accompanied by his captain and goalkeeper Johny Placide.
It should be noted that, in accordance with the regulations in force in major international competitions, a member of the technical team and a player must appear before the press the day before each match.
For its 10th appearance in the Gold Cup, Haiti kicks off this Sunday against the Saudi Arabian "Falcons" at 5:15 p.m. (local time), or 8:15 p.m. in Haiti, at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
It should be notedthat Saudi Arabia, which is participating in a Gold Cup for the first time, has a solid track record : three Asian Cup victories (1984, 1988, and 1996), as well as three final defeats. It has participated in six World Cup finals between 1994 and 2022. The "Falcons" have also won the Arab Cup of Nations twice and the Gulf Cup of Nations three times.
