Haiti - FLASH : Discussion on the situation in Haiti with the President of the CPT and 5 journalists (Video)

On Friday, June 20, 2025, Fritz Alphonse Jean, President pro tempore of the Transitional Council, discussed the national situation, answering questions from a pool of five journalists for nearly an hour and a half.

In this discussion rich in revelations, Fritz Alphonse Jean confirmed and justified that the government and the Council had hired a private security firm, without, however, confirming the contract amount.

He also attacked Jean Michel Moïse, the Minister of Defense, whom he held responsible for the dysfunctions that caused the low disbursement rate of resources allocated in the war budget, i.e., 13.7% (April 2025). https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44303-haiti-economy-the-war-budget-orally-only.html

Given the large number of topics covered and questions posed by journalists, we recommend viewing this entire discussion on the situation in our country.
