Haiti - Sport : 4 Canadian trainers in Haiti
Jean-Marc Normandin, professor of physical education, specialist in athletics and trainer for the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) as well as Charles Cardinal, Diane Culver and Marie-Pier Charest, staying in Port-au-Prince since December 13, until December 20.

Mr. Normandin is in Haiti as part of a training mission sponsored by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), "During our stay there, we will provide training to sixteen coaches Haitian that become themselves trainers. We will present them various modules related to sport psychology, ethics, liability, injury prevention, planning training sessions, etc... For my part, I will teach a module on strength training while working on the others given by my colleagues," he said before leaving for Haiti.

This is the fourth visit for Jean-Marc Normandin, in February he came make a visit of identification, then a first training mission in April and in August he returned to Haiti with four other trainers for continue the training of the Haitian coaches.

"Unlike the first, this time I know what to expect. I greatly appreciate the experience and the opportunity given to me, to be able to help the Haitian people that thanks us by its warmth and enthusiasm"

adding that this time it came to Haiti with some equipment, rackets and tennis balls, soccer balls and volleyball etc...

Other training missions are planned in January and April 2012.
