AGD / DGI Agreement

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Romial Petit, Director General of Taxes (DGI), and Julcène Édouard, Director General of the General Administration of Customs (AGD). This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and information sharing between the two institutions, particularly in the area of ​​public financial systems, with the aim of improving state revenue collection and combating fraud. Under this agreement, the DGI will be able to consult details of imported and exported products, the amounts collected in customs duties and the Turnover Tax (TCA), as well as company information via the AGD databases. The AGD, in turn, will have access to tax information and financial statements audited by the DGI, in order to compare customs declarations with the actual cost of sales reported. DR : 30,757 Haitians repatriated in June

During the month of June, the Directorate General of Migration (DGM) expelled 30,757 Haitian nationals in an irregular migration situation from Dominican territory.
