FLASH : PM evokes reinforcements from Kenya

Prime Minister Fils Aimé announced the arrival of a contingent of more than 200 SWAT agents in Kenya, trained and equipped by the United States, who are awaiting orders to join the Mission in Haiti. Fils Aimé stated that he had asked the Americans to send them to Haiti as soon as possible.

Kapenyen attacked, at least 17 victims

On Saturday, July 19, around 4:00 a.m., the locality of Kapenyen, in the Estère commune of Artibonite, considered one of the strongholds of the resistance against armed gangs, was attacked by heavily armed individuals from the "Kokorat San Ras" gang. The unofficial provisional death toll is at least 7 residents dead and about ten injured.

22,878 Haitians repatriated from the DR in June

According to data compiled by the Support Group for Repatriates and Refugees (GARR), 22,878 Haitian nationals were repatriated by Dominican authorities during the month of June 2025. Among them were more than 300 nannies and over 900 unaccompanied minors.
