ONI : Mobile Caravan The National Identification Office (ONI) deployed a mobile caravan in the Nord department on February 18, 2025. The objective was to facilitate access to the national identification card, particularly in often-neglected rural areas. According to Engineer Jean Carlo Darbouze, ONI's North coordinator, five mobile teams traveled to 14 of the department's 19 communes, covering 53 communal sections. Thanks to this operation, 19,751 people were registered and 9,457 national identification cards were issued, representing nearly 48% of the initial forecast.
