Alfred Fils Métellus, the Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF), notes with concern the circulation on social media of a supposed "Information Note" announcing the official opening of cryptocurrency investment sessions.

The MEF informs the public in general, and citizens in particular, that this document is FALSE and DELIBERATELY MISLEADING. The Ministry categorically denies being the author. This document was never issued by its services and in no way reflects its activities, official procedures, or strategic orientations.

The Ministry specifies that no cryptocurrency investment initiative is currently underway or planned as part of budget execution or national economic policy.

Faced with this obvious attempt at disinformation, the Ministry calls for the utmost vigilance. It urges the public to systematically verify the authenticity of all communications by referring to the Ministry's official channels.

The MEF reserves the right to take legal action against the perpetrators of this fraudulent act, which seriously undermines the integrity of the institution and the financial security of citizens.
