Haiti - Security : The PNH received a visit from a delegation from the American Embassy (video)
On September 23, 2025, Vladimir Paraison, Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PHN), accompanied by several members of the High Command, received at the PNH Headquarters in Clercine 8 (Tabarre), a delegation from the American Embassy led by David Howell, Assistant Chief of the Diplomatic Mission and Representative of the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Haiti. The American delegation consisted of five people, including the Chief of Security of the United States Embassy, ​​Hunck Ryan.

This visit was part of the strengthening of existing cooperation between the PNH and the Cooperation Services of the United States Embassy in the context of the fight against organized crime.

During this visit, a working session was held to discuss new security measures for the municipality of Tabarre in general and new measures to ensure security around the perimeter of the American Embassy in particular.

Modification of the training curriculum for new police officers, adapted to the fight against terrorism, was also on the agenda.

Vladimir Paraison, while thanking the American delegation for its visit, reiterated the importance of international partnership for the police institution in the fight against crime.
