Haiti - Army : Handover of 7 armored vehicles to the FAd'H (video)
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, accompanied by Presidential Advisor Leslie Voltaire, and in the presence of Defense Minister Jean-Michel Moïse, Minister of Justice and Public Security Dr. Patrick Pélissier, and Major General Jonas Jean, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H), as well as several high-ranking civilian and military officials, handed over 7 armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H).

This delivery constitutes the first phase of an order for 17 armored vehicles, intended to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces as part of national efforts to restore lasting security throughout the country.

This highly significant act, imbued with national pride and sovereignty, is part of the policy of institutional and security strengthening.



Speaking to the audience, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé reaffirmed his government's commitment to revitalizing and modernizing the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) so that they can fully fulfill their constitutional mission : defending the Nation, protecting the people, and preserving republican values.

He also emphasized that rebuilding a strong, disciplined, and republican army is a strategic pillar of national recovery.
