Vertières Horse Parade
The 3rd edition of "Torbeck ap galope" will be held on November 18, 2025, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Battle of Vertières. The event's initiator, Jean Fritznel Pierre-Louis, general coordinator of the "Alyans Pèp" party and leader of the "Lapè Pou Ayiti" political group, presents this activity as an original way to honor the memory of the heroes of Vertières while highlighting the role of the horse in Haitian culture. "This year, we will parade with schoolchildren, marching bands, rara bands, motorcycle taxi drivers, among others."

Southeast : Increase in suspected cholera cases
In response to the increase in suspected cholera cases in the Southeast department, the Ministry of Public Health, with the support of the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), UNICEF, and The Alliance for International Medical Action (ALIMA), has intensified epidemiological surveillance and community response activities in the communes of Belle-Anse and Grand-Gosier. This mission strengthened local capacity for active case finding, community awareness, household disinfection, and the distribution of hygiene and water treatment products. Training sessions were also organized for nurses on sample management, with support from PAHO/WHO Labo-moto project staff, to improve rapid case detection and confirmation.

Melissa : Bereavement Assistance of 250,000 Gourdes per Family
To support families bereaved by Hurricane Melissa, the Government decided on Monday, November 10, 2025, to provide checks for 250,000 Gourdes to each bereaved family. Furthermore, the Government announced that it will cover the full cost of funeral arrangements for the victims.

King Charles III Receives the Ambassador of Haiti in Audience
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of fourteen other sovereign states, received in private audiences at Buckingham Palace Sven Sakkov, Ambassador of Estonia, Anaise Manuel, Ambassador of Haiti, and Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard, Ambassador of Denmark.

Melissa : US Aid of $2.5 Million
The United States announced additional humanitarian aid of nearly $12.6 million for Jamaica and Haiti, two countries severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. Haiti will receive $2.5 million of this amount. With this aid, Haiti has received a total of $11 million in US assistance to date.

Michel Soukar, Guest Speaker, Embassy of Haiti in Canada
The Embassy of Canada in Haiti hosted historian Michel Soukar for a second intergenerational dialogue on the theme "The Causes of the Failure of the Democratic Transition in Haiti Since 1986." This conference brought together young people, schoolchildren, and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
