The Senator Jocelerme Privert, President of the Commission Finance and Budget expressed his impatience with the delay of the Government to submit the budget of the Republic of Haiti for fiscal year 2011-2012. The Senator reiterates the importance of this deposit, so that the Parliamentarians [deputies and senators] can study it, adapt it to the needs of the population ((the parliamentarians wish to have a decentralized budget of each municipality) and finally ratify it.

The Senator Privert demands that the authorities finalize the budget as soon as possible, noting that the Finance Act 2011-2012 should be submitted June 30, 2011 at the latest, and the vote of the budget be done during the month of September 2011.

André Lemercier Georges, the Minister of Economy and Finance, has informed that the Government was currently developing a finance bill for the 2011-2012 fiscal year began on October 1, 2011... while the parliamentarians expect only an amending budget...
