Haiti - FLASH : US Donation of 25 New Armored Vehicles to the PNH

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Vladimir Paraison, Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), accompanied by members of the High Command, visited the headquarters of the National Port Authority (APN) to receive a shipment of 25 armored personnel carriers, donated by the United States through the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the PNH's operational capabilities.

These strategic vehicles will allow for a more effective response to security challenges in high-risk areas and will significantly increase the mobility and protection of intervention units in theaters of operation, facilitating a more balanced tactical and operational deployment across the country.

Paraison expressed his gratitude to the U.S. government for its support.

This logistical support is part of the United States' cooperation with the Haitian National Police (PNH), respecting the principles of professionalism, autonomy, efficiency, and security, and demonstrates their commitment to supporting the PNH in its fight against gangs and terrorists.
