Housing Project for the Haitian National Police (PNH)

During the commemorative ceremony for the 222nd anniversary of Haiti's Independence, held on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, at the Villa d'Accueil (https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-46546-haiti-national-day-official-ceremony-for-the-222nd-anniversary-of-independence-video.html), Laurent St-Cyr, President pro tempore and Coordinator of the Transition Council, commended the sustained efforts of the Haitian National Police (PNH) throughout 2025 in the fight against gangs. He also announced a housing project for police officers and their families, to be implemented in 2026, with the aim of improving the living conditions of law enforcement officers.
