Haiti - Football : Know all about the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship

The qualifying phase for the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship will pit the Confederation's member associations ranked 7th through 41st against each other. At the end of the group stage, the winner of each group will qualify for the Championship...

The qualifying phase for the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, the Champions League of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), will feature the Confederation's member associations ranked 7th through 41st.

At the end of the group stage, the winner of each group will qualify for the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and join the six highest-ranked nations, who have already qualified automatically.

The full schedule for the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Championship qualifiers will be announced after the official draw.

The qualifying matches will be held in three countries : Costa Rica, Curaçao, and Nicaragua.

The 32 national teams participating in the qualifiers are : Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, French Guiana, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Maarten, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Maarten, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Grenadiers are in Group D for the qualifying phase, alongside their opponents: Curaçao, Guyana, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla.

The CONCACAF U-20 qualifiers will take place from February 23 to March 4th, 2026.

The main objective is to finish first in the group, which would secure the team's qualification for the next phase, where they will compete for a place in major FIFA international competitions.

Group D Qualifying Match Schedule :

Rinaldo Jean Francisca Stadium, Willemstad, Curaçao

February 26, 2026 :

Haiti vs. Anguilla (5:00 p.m.)

February 28, 2026 :

Haiti vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (8:00 p.m.)

March 2, 2026 :

Haiti vs. Guyana (8:00 p.m.)

March 4, 2026 :

Haiti vs. Curaçao (8:00 p.m.)

The six seeded national teams in the Championship are (in order of ranking) : United States (1), Mexico (2), Honduras (3), Panama (4), Cuba (5), and Guatemala (6).

This 12-team championship will take place during the summer of 2026, from July 25 to August 9, and will bring together the 12 best U-20 men's national teams in the region, divided into three groups of four.

The tournament will also serve as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.

Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group and the two best third-placed teams will qualify for the knockout stage, consisting of the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final.
