The discussions were characterized by open, respectful, and results-oriented cooperation, centered on a shared objective : to sustainably restore institutional stability, strengthen public security, and create the conditions for credible elections in Haiti.

At the heart of the discussions was the Pact to Rebuild National Stability and Guarantee Credible Elections in Haiti, hailed as a major political step forward. Secretary of State Marco Rubio acknowledged the importance of this initiative, which enshrines the unity of political forces and civil society actors around a shared agenda for democratic transition. He emphasized that this Pact represents a strong signal of hope and collective responsibility, essential for restoring national and international trust.

Both officials gave priority to the security situation in Haiti. The Prime Minister outlined the measures undertaken by the Government to restore state authority and dismantle the criminal networks that threaten public peace. He advocated for strengthened bilateral cooperation to enhance the operational capabilities of national forces and consolidate regional and international coordination mechanisms.

Discussions also focused on mobilizing partners to support the deployment of the Gang Repression Force (FRG), particularly in terms of specialized human resources, strategic equipment, logistical support, and financial assistance.
