Haiti - FLASH : Full list of government reshuffle 04/03/2026 09:02:05
On Monday, March 2nf, 2026, during a special cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office, chaired by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, a major government reshuffle was adopted. Of the 18 ministries, 5 ministers are women (27.8%), 5 ministers were reappointed, and 13 others are new. In addition, 2 new Secretaries of State, 7 new Directors General, and 1 Deputy Director were appointed. Full list of the new Cabinet : Health : Bertrand Sinal is appointed Minister of Public Health and Population (Reappointed); Culture : Emmanuel MENARD is appointed Minister of Culture and Communication, replacing Patrick DELATOUR. Public Works : James MONAZARD is appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry (Reappointed). Joseph Almathe PIERRE LOUIS is appointed Minister of Public Works, Transportation, and Communications, replacing Raphaël HOSTY. Diaspora : (F) J. E. Kathia VERDIER is appointed Minister for Haitians Living Abroad (Reappointed). Agriculture : Marcelin AUBOURG is appointed Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Rural Development, replacing Jean Michel MOÏSE. Defense: Mario ANDRESOL is appointed Minister of Defense, replacing Jean Michel MOÏSE. Social Affairs : Marc Elie NELSON is appointed Minister of Social Affairs and Labour. Replaces Georges Wilbert Franck. Justice : Patrick Pelissier is appointed Minister of Justice and Public Security (Reappointed) Interior : Paul Antoine Bien-Aimé is appointed Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities (Reappointed) Women : (F) Pédrica Saint Jean is appointed Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights (Reappointed) Youth and Sports : Pythagore Dumas is appointed Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, replacing Niola Lynn Sarah Devalis Octavius.
