PNH : Intellectual Tests for 17,800 Candidates

The intellectual tests required to complete the recruitment process for the 37th class of the Haitian National Police (PNH) will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. throughout the country for the approximately 17,800 registered candidates. The list of candidates selected to participate in the tests, along with the examination centers, will be posted starting Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the various permanent recruitment offices across the country.

USA : 140 Haitians Repatriated

On Thursday, March 5, 2026, 140 Haitians in an irregular immigration situation were repatriated by U.S. authorities at Cap-Haïtien International Airport aboard a Global X airline plane, registration number N278GX.

The French Army Stands with Haiti

During a visit to Port-au-Prince, Rear Admiral Soubrier, Commander of the French Armed Forces in the Antilles, held a working meeting with Mario Andresol, the new Minister of Defense, and the senior staff of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) regarding the SABRE partnership between France and Haiti. This visit coincides with the return of the 5th FAd'H soldier group from Martinique, where they underwent intensive training.

New Route for Sunrise Airways Dominicana

Sunrise Airways Dominicana inaugurated a new regional route connecting Santo Domingo to Antigua on March 3rd, 2026. The inaugural flight was welcomed by Antigua's Minister of Tourism, Charles Fernandez, at VC Bird International Airport in Antigua and Barbuda, in the presence of local authorities. The new route operates twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, aboard a 30-seat Embraer 140. More information and reservations are available at www.sunriseairways.net

Reconstruction of PNH Buildings

A delegation of representatives from the European Union and the Organization of American States (OAS) presented the Forward Operating Base - Haitian National Police (FOB-PNH) project. This EU-funded project aims to rebuild the PNH's buildings and operational posts. It is a key initiative to strengthen the country's security and infrastructure.

Jérémie : Donation of 5 Tons of Medical Supplies

With financial support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), PAHO/WHO delivered nearly 5 tons of medical supplies to Saint-Antoine Hospital in Jérémie. These emergency kits will support the care of more than 20,000 patients, providing both primary healthcare and emergency surgical care, as well as monitoring chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
