USA : Haitian Man Guilty of Real Estate Fraud

A man of Haitian origin and his wife pleaded guilty in a major real estate fraud case in Florida. The scheme involved fraudulent transactions that generated more than $50 million. US authorities uncovered an organized system designed to defraud financial institutions.

USA : Reginald Boulos to Be Deported

Reginald Boulos is facing deportation after ICE revoked his permanent resident status. On April 2, 2026, a US judge issued a deportation order against the Haitian businessman, who was arrested in Florida in July 2025 for immigration-related offenses. His lawyer, Frandley Denis Julien, confirmed that this decision suspends the habeas corpus petition filed in his client's defense. US authorities accuse him of providing false information when applying for residency and of supporting armed groups in Haiti. This measure is part of a policy targeting Haitian residents suspected of supporting organizations considered terrorist by Washington.

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) is working on a new decree

The CEP is working on a new decree aligned with the National Pact for Stability. A revision that could modify the electoral calendar, according to its President, Jacques Desrosiers.
