Americas Immunization Week

The Ministry of Public Health launched the Americas Immunization Week (AIM 2026) in Jérémie, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Sinal Bertrand, health directors from the South Region, Ministry officials, and partners. A football tournament was held at the mini-stadium in Place Dumas to mark the occasion. In the neighborhood match, after a 0-0 draw, the Camagnol team emerged victorious, defeating Dèyè Endistriyèl 7-6 on penalties. In the school final, the National School of Roseaux won 1-0 against Bethel College of Jérémie.

Coast Guard : Equipment Donation

The Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has strengthened the capacity of the Haitian Coast Guard by providing essential equipment, including a generator, beds, mattresses, and support equipment, to improve living and working conditions and enhance operational capabilities. This donation was supported by Global Affairs Canada.

The Haitian National Police (PNH) has significantly intensified its operations in several strategic areas of the capital. A video released by the PNH shows significant progress in reclaiming downtown Port-au-Prince, which resembles a city ravaged by armed conflict or a natural disaster. Arrest of a crook

The defendants include priests and former public officials. PNCS Visits Cap-Haitien

As part of his tour of the North Department, Lucson Philemond, General Coordinator of the National School Feeding Program (PNCS), accompanied by Wilson Joseph, his Chief of Staff, visited the Anténor Firmin National School in Cap-Haïtien. The purpose of this visit was to oversee the management and storage conditions of food supplies and ensure the strict application of the National School Feeding Policy.
