Taiwan : Signing of Implementation Agreements

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, Cheng-hao Hu, Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China), and Marcelin Aubourg, Minister of Agriculture, signed the implementation agreements for three sub-projects of the "Rice Production Improvement Project in Haiti" and the "Vegetable and Fruit Cultivation Development Project in Haiti." Through the signing of these implementation agreements, Taiwan will continue to support rice, fruit, and vegetable production in Haiti, strengthen the self-reliance of producers, and contribute to the country's food security.

Hinche : New Accommodation Site

On May 21, 2026, a new temporary accommodation site was inaugurated in Hinche. Developed with the support of partners, including the IOM, this site will help accommodate displaced persons while strengthening emergency response capacities in the Central Department.
