Tank Truck Hit by Bullet Explodes

On Tuesday, June 23, around 9:10 a.m., an empty tanker truck parked on Boulevard de La Saline was struck by a projectile (stray bullet or targeted fire ?) during ongoing clashes between armed gangs vying for control of the industrial and port area. Despite being declared empty due to residual fuel vapors, the impact caused the truck to explode. Several other heavy vehicles, parked in a line on Boulevard de La Saline, were also damaged by bullet impacts and debris from the explosion.

Delmas 95 : Construction of Chrétien Street

As part of the modernization of the municipal road network, a key driver of urban development and citizen mobility, Mayor Wilson Jeudy officially launched the construction of Chrétien Street, located in Delmas 95, at the corner of the Jacquet Toto gas station. The Delmas City Hall informs residents that the execution of this work may cause temporary traffic delays and disruptions on this road.

The EU Inspired by the CODEVI Industrial Park

ULCC Delegation in New York

The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) is participating in a series of strategic meetings at UN Headquarters in New York from June 22 to 26, 2026. The Haitian delegation, led by the Director General of the ULCC, Me Hans Jacques Ludwig Joseph, will participate in discussions likely to contribute to the sustainable strengthening of anti-corruption efforts in Haiti with several permanent missions to the United Nations, including those of Haiti, Canada, France, Latvia, and Panama. It will also take part in an important closed-door expert briefing of the UN Security Council, as well as a discussion session dedicated to adapting the UN system's response to the challenges of corruption in Haiti.

The Consulate of Haiti in Paris Changes its Hours

The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Paris informs the general public, and the Haitian community in particular, that due to weather conditions, its offices will be exceptionally open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from Tuesday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, 2026. Consular services will resume on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the usual hours.
