Haiti - Micro Industrial Parks : Call for Expressions of Interest

As part of the implementation of the Integrated Business Development Program, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) aims to provide technical and financial support to Micro Industrial Park (MIP) projects led by local and regional institutions/organizations and selected by the MCI.

To this end, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) is launching a call for expressions of interest to identify Micro Industrial Park (MIP) projects across the country. Eligible private institutions, for-profit organizations, and promoters are invited to submit their business plan demonstrating the viability of the projects, along with their company's legal documents, no later than July 14, 2026, by email to servicemicroparc@mci.gouv.ht.

Ehould be noted that all MIPs will be privately managed, and the State's involvement in the implementation of an MIP is limited to catalyzing economic activity and safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders.

Through the Integrated Business Development Program, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) is seeking proposals for Micro-Industrial Parks (MIPs) operating in the following sectors:

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST :

Selection of Micro-Industrial Park projects within the framework of the Integrated Business Development Program (PIDE) ;

• Agribusiness;

• Manufacturing: wood and textiles;

• Services, particularly general and precision mechanics;

• Applied research, specifically in biotechnology;

For those who partner with the government to develop an MIP, the advantages are numerous :

- Technical assistance necessary for conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility studies;

- Support in securing financing;

- Financing for equipment, industrial buildings, and infrastructure;

- Providing support for the training of technicians and specialized personnel;

- Support for acquiring patents and operating licenses;

- Proximity to basic public and private services;

- Support for marketing and promotion;

- Support for adopting and complying with production standards and norms.

The area of ​​a Multi-Production Investment (MPI) is considered a "specific customs territory" and the companies located there are potential beneficiaries of the incentives offered by the Haitian Investment Code.

A. Application Submission Requirements :

• Private institution or for-profit organization with at least 3 years of operation;

• Project that leverages the potential of its location;

• Job-creating projects with high added value;

• Project promoters with solid knowledge and experience in their chosen sector of activity;

• Land availability, quality/accessibility of the location;

• Potential/willingness for the establishment of other businesses;

• Promoter's personal contribution;

• Market identification, security of supply;

• Profitability for producers, environmental and social impacts;

• Project integration with producers, women's involvement.

B. Support planned under this call for expressions of interest :

Selected businesses will receive financial support for the acquisition and assembly of the materials and equipment they will need.

C. Document to submit :

Interested parties are invited to submit their micro-enterprise project business plan along with the company's legal documents by July 14, 2026, at the latest, via email to the following address: servicemicroparc@mci.gouv.ht

IMPORTANT : After review, only selected applications will be eligible for support from this program.
