Haiti - Sports : 3 Grenadiers from the World Cup visit Haiti

On Sunday, July 5th, Prime Minister Fils-Aimé instructed an inter-ministerial delegation to welcome three of our valiant Grenadiers for the 2026 World Cup at Cap-Haïtien International Airport : Duckens Nazon, Martin Expérience, and Josué Duverger.

Stéphanie Smith, Minister of Tourism; Sinedie Saintil Dupuy, Director General of the Ministry of Tourism; Innocent Joseph, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Pythagore Dumas; Michel St. Croix, Mayor of Cap-Haitien; Rulz Angrand, Deputy Delegate of the Cap-Haïtien district; Divisional Commissioner Ernst Bouquet Dorfeuille, Departmental Director of the Haitian National Police (PNH); and influencer and Youth Ambassador Ariana Milagro Lafond expressed their support and gratitude to the players. Their presence contributed to making this welcome a moment of patriotic unity and national pride.

Through this initiative, Minister Pythagore Dumas, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), expressed the State's deep gratitude to these players who proudly represented the national colors. He reaffirmed that the Grenadiers are role models for Haitian youth and that their performances reinforce the Ministry's commitment to continuing its efforts to develop sports and nurture young talent.

In her message, Minister Smith invited "all the sons and daughters of the Nation to become Ambassadors of our heritage, builders of trust, and agents of territorial recovery."

She warmly thanked the Grenadiers and, on behalf of Prime Minister Fils-Aimé and the entire government, presented plaques commemorating their historic performances during the 2026 World Cup.
