PNH : Sports and Tactical Competition

On Saturday, July 4th, 2026, Divisional Commissioner Richardson Persan officially launched the "Lycan Competition" at the National Police Academy (ENP). This sports and tactical competition brings together several specialized units, including : GIPNH-SWAT, USPM, CIMO, PoliFRONT, Coast Guard, and a team from the National Palace. During this competition, which will conclude on Tuesday, July 7, participants will have to complete several events, such as: physical tests, an obstacle course, shooting exercises, and a forced march of 12 kilometers carrying a 35-pound load.

Cap-Haitien : Customs Revenue on the Rise

Customs revenue recorded in Cap-Haïtien, the main commercial port in the north of the country, continued its upward trend during June 2026. It reached over 1.7 billion gourdes, a higher level than that observed in May (over 1.3 billion).

Aviation Security Training

This week, the Inter-American Counterterrorism Committee, in collaboration with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and with the support of the Embassy of Canada in Haiti, is organizing a train-the-trainer workshop in aviation security in Cap-Haïtien, in partnership with the National Civil Aviation Office (OFNAC) and the National Airport Authority (AAN). This activity brings together 50 participants and aims to strengthen national capacities through practical training, specialized support, and tools to ensure the sustainable dissemination of knowledge within the institutions responsible for airport security.
