Haiti - FAd’H Selection Tests : Call-up for the recruitment of a new cohort of recruits

The Recruitment Commission of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H) informs applicants, and the general public, that, as part of the selection process for admission to the Training Center, a cohort of 2,000 (two thousand) applicants has been summoned to undergo selection tests (medical, physical, psychological, and intellectual). These individuals were selected from the total 17,522 (seventeen thousand five hundred and twenty-two) people who registered during the recruitment tours conducted across the country's 10 geographic departments between June 8 and 19 (https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-47710-fad-h-recruitment-strong-mobilization-of-candidates-in-all-departments.html). The process officially began on Monday, October 5, 2026.

Distribution and evaluation criteria :

1. Exclusive notification procedures :

Individual notifications are issued exclusively via telephone and email sent directly to the selected applicants. No public list of names will be posted, for reasons of security and confidentiality.

Instructions to applicants :

All applicants are strongly urged to remain reachable and to regularly check their phones and email inboxes.

2. Geographic distribution and quotas :

Notifications are distributed equally among the country's various geographic departments, with the exception of the West Department, which has been allocated a higher quota due to the particularly high volume of applications registered there. Gender Quota : In accordance with institutional guidelines, a minimum of 30% of the candidates called up for selection must be women.

3. Priority Selection Criteria :

During evaluations, explicit priority is given to applicants who fit the following profiles : demonstrated involvement in socio-community activities, environmental protection, reforestation, and climate action.

Technical and Professional Qualifications : Holders of diplomas or certificates in technical specialties and support trades directly relevant to the logistics and operations of the FAd’H.

4. Final Selection and Admission :

Following the completion of all evaluation tests and standard background checks, the 700 (seven hundred) highest-ranking candidates will be selected to join the Training Center.

More information on the nature of the tests :

Medical tests : These assess the candidate's general health and fitness. Issues such as blood pressure problems, tattoos, piercings, or certain visible infections may result in immediate medical disqualification;

Physical tests : These test the physical condition, endurance, and athletic abilities required for military service (running, rope climbing, sit-ups);

Intellectual tests : These evaluate the applicants' academic level, comprehension, and general aptitude;

Psychological tests and interviews : These measure the candidate's psychological stability, discipline, stress resilience, and motivation.
