Haiti - Women's Football U-20 : The Haitians destroyed by Mexico 10-0
The final phase of the playoffs had started badly after the first match against Canada (5-0), but our grenadières had the will to win, or at least to do well against Mexico. Obviously they lacked resources in the field of stadium Rommel Ferandez Guetiérrez (in Panama), facing the powerful Mexican team which left them no chance in the two half-time, by scoring 10-0..

After this humiliating defeat, our U-20 team was eliminated from the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. However, during the first two rounds, our young players had scored 16 goals without conceding any, all hope seemed possible [Puerto Rico (4-0), Cayman Islands (3-0), St. Kitts (4-0 ), Jamaica (1-0) and Dominican Republic (4-0)] they seemed invincible...

The grenadières U-20, although eliminated, will play for the honor, their final match Monday against Jamaica (also eliminated) and avoid the last place in Group A by winning the last match.

The teams from Canada and Mexico are qualified for the half finals. However, those of Haiti and Jamaica took the exit door.
