Haiti - Reconstruction : Towards the construction of the Polyvalent Center of youth of Haiti 19/03/2012 09:43:58
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Haiti, is positioning itself for the reconstruction of Haiti by initiating a pilot project to build a polyvalent training Center. The mission of this polyvalent Center will be to train a new youth to the entrepreneurship and to the active citizenship, which constitute the philosophy of JCI Haiti. Since the establishment of the Commission of the project, major steps has been made, including the acquisition of land of about 1000 m2 in the town of Delmas. The members involved in the realization of this project strongly believe in its success and relies on the solidarity of all the great and powerful network JCI throughout the world. "We are convinced that we are not alone in this project. The young Jaycees Member of JCI] all over the world are with us," said Guillaume Joachin, Commission director of the project. John Walter Destiné, the National President of JCI Haiti in 2012, is convinced that the training of youth is more fundamental than ever and the Junior Chamber is positioned to do what it does best : the training. "This will be a reality, only if the Jaycees from around the world are indeed convinced that solidarity can make miracles. With this project, we can begin to make of this country what we want it to be in 30 years. This is the approach to take, because tomorrow begins today." "With 52 dollars in the year 2012, each member can contribute to train the Haitian leaders of tomorrow aware of the primacy of the collective good," declared John Walter Destiné on the sidelines of a meeting between President of the Haitian National Assembly, Simon Dieuseul Desras and JCI World President, Mr. Bertolt Daems. Also, JCI Haiti appeals to each member of the family junior chamber in the 117 countries worldwide to contribute up to $52 during 2012. "The future of Haiti rests on our shoulders, we are aware of that, and we also know that the solidarity of Jaycees on all continents is acquired," declared Guillaume Joachin adding that "Each Jaycees, can help make this project a reality when it will agreed to provide to JCI Haiti through the 'Operation Hope' of the JCI, at least $1 per week over the year 2012.
