Haiti - Social : 400 families threatening to block the national road # 2

Sunday, March 18, the members of the organization "Union des citoyens pour le développement de haut Rue Benoît" (Union of Citizens for the development of haut Rue Benoît) to Petit-Goâve, organized a forum on the problems of this suburbs in the presence of 400 families.
They handed to the Mayor Yves Lindor their list of demands namely : the electrification of the area, the dredging of the river "La Digue" that constitutes a threat for the city, the construction of the street Benoît. These 400 families have threatened to block the national road #2 this week, if local authorities do not meet their urgent claims.
