Haiti - Diplomacy : Two young Haitian, CARICOM Youth Ambassador 01/05/2012 11:45:44 Our two young Ambassadors will have for mission to share with young people of Haiti, on issues relating to CARICOM and promote the effective participation of youth in the formulation and implementation of all policies and programs affecting youth. Earl Huntley, the Representative of the CARICOM in Haiti, has indicated that it is very important to allow youth to participate in the integration movement of the CARICOM "We promise to give these kids all the necessary support to help them to become aware of the problems to which are faced the youth today." According to Jean René Roosevelt, the Minister of Youth, Nickson Athis and Cindy Ferla Morquette, will have the dual responsibility of protecting the interests of young Haitians in the conception and development of programs of the CARICOM, but also to disseminate in Haiti the values and principles established in the Caricom, in regard to the supervision of young of the Caribbean region. The two young Ambassador promised to attract the attention of policymakers on issues of regional policy and to advocate for youth participation in decision making. S/ HaitiLibre
