Haiti - Economy : First Summit of the Insurance in Haiti

The AIC (Alternative Insurance Company) presents from 10 to 11 May 2012, at the Karibe Convention Center in Juvénat [Petionville], the First Summit of the Insurance in Haiti.

The objective of this first Summit of the insurance in Haiti, is to creates a dialogue around the ways to accelerate the industry strengthening, given its potential role as a tool of transformation in the country's sustainable development. To this end, the AIC [which will invest funds to expand the insurance products and services] has invited a team of national and international experts to participate in a thorough debate on the role of insurance as an essential tool in the sustainable development of Haiti. Each panel will be led by speakers who will make presentations in their area of ​​expertise.

The Summit will offer not only workshops and discussions on relevant topics, but will also bring together on one platform, leaders and participants well informed, to discuss and shape a vision of the opportunities that will provide the forthcoming legislation, to support the development of the insurance industry in Haiti.
