Haiti - Tourism : The Minister of Tourism discusses finances with BRH and the World Bank
The agenda of Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism is still loaded. Yesterday Thursday, the Minister met Charles Castel, the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), for the establishment of a funding program for the tourism sector. She also held a working meeting with the World Bank, which is ready to invest 40 million U.S. dollars for the rehabilitation of the Citadelle and the creation of a management unit of the National Historic Park.

The same day, Stéphanie attended the inauguration ceremony of the First "House of Haitian Women" (Maison des Femmes Haïtiennes) located Ruelle Jacqueline Turian Cardozo (former 1er Impasse Lavaud). This house of the women is a space for exchanges, training and information, as provided in the Action Plan 2011-2012 of the Ministry for Women's Affairs and Women's Rights.
