"[...] I take great pleasure, Mr. Prime Minister, honorable Ministers, to give you the inauguration today as chief and member of the Government of the Republic. I made it with greater satisfaction, because the inauguration of the new ministerial team, coincides to almost two days, with the first anniversary of my accession to the head of state. There is in this accident of timing, an interpellation to take a serene look on the first 12 months that I was able to pass at the head of national affairs. A look at the efforts already made, to go to meet people's needs and contemplate the huge legitimate expectations, that they remain to meet, looking for a wellness society, that I advocate for our beloved country Haiti, which is the primary meaning of his struggle and my political commitments. So I live this ceremony, and I am sure it is the same for each and every one of you member of that government, both as a time of resourcing and an invitation to the overrun. Time of resourcing, because it makes you, you and I enter every day a little more deeper, in the term of the contract, the only one I've spent with the Haitian people, that of working tirelessly to improve its daily and living conditions, and to devote myself tirelessly to defend their rights and protect its interests. Invitation to overrun, because this battle in which we have committed, does not suffer from quarter and requires of each of us, a supplement of soul to face the many challenges of today [...] I am pleased that the Prime Minister in his statement of General Policy, has found good, that his actions remains the priorities [5E] of his government. [...] People of Haiti, you find with me, that despite all the difficulties we encountered in the first moments, we have the satisfaction that we are moving in the right direction, although we have not succeeded in the first year, as we had hoped [...] [...] Is in the continuation of this battle, that I invite you today by giving you the inauguration Mr. Prime Minister, honorable Ministers, with all the energy and commitment expected by the Haitian population. It is publicly known, that the Prime Minister Lamothe is a longtime friend and political comrade of the first moments. They are, however, his personal qualities, his energy and determination to push forward the joint project which led us to choose him. Laurent I count on you ! I thank the outgoing Government and members of government who have not been renewed. They accepted a difficult mission, in difficult times. History will witness the work of each, but already, I want to announce that some of them, will continue to serve the country in other capacities. Prime Minister and members of the new ministerial cabinet, I first want to thank you for agreeing to board the train of change to implement the program of 5E. To meet these major challenges, each of you have a duty and responsibility, not only well run the ministry to which you were nominated, but I want to tell you today, that you must all make ONE, to provide consistent and quick answers in relation to the policy agenda of 5E. I have no doubt that you will put all your skills, seriousness, honesty and courage at the service of our country. [...] You do not have the right to fail, and you have a duty now, to help the Prime Minister and myself, to affirm the authority of the state for the people, can find all good this time. With this strong team that is with me and our new Prime Minister, we must fight to change the old image of conflict, discord... that gnaws the nation and prevents us from advancing [...] I count on you, the country is counting on you, the victory must be for the people Tet Kalé.
