Haiti - Sports : Haiti will participate in the 2012 Olympics in London 25/05/2012 09:29:13
In Judo, our sole ambassador, will the young capoise, Linouse Desravines, born February 10, 1991, in the 52 kg category. Four other Haitian hopes Jonathan Juin (400m/hurdles), Josué Louis (decathlon), Pascale Delaunay (triple jump) and Roody Monrose (100 m and 200 m) are still in the race of qualifications which ends July 15. Alain Jean Pierre, the President of the Haitian Federation of Amateur Athletics (FAA) announced that on May 29, Haitian athletes will travel to France to attend a training camp and participate in several European competitions of qualification for the London Games. They will be supported by the Franco-American coach, Emmanuel Jackson.
