Haiti - Culture : T-Vice at «Best Of The Best Weekend 2012» in Florida

The promoters behind Best Of The Best Weekend 2012 (May 25th - 27th in Miami) are proud to announce the addition of Kompa, the national music of Haiti, to the already diverse list of genres being represented at the biggest Memorial Weekend music festival in South Florida.

On Sunday May 27th, Haiti's leading Kompa act T-VICE will share the stage with some of the biggest names in Reggae, Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Soca for the 6th annual Best Of The Best Concert at Bicentennial Park (1075 Biscayne Blvd.). "We've always prided ourselves on being an international music festival," says event producer Joseph "Budafuco" Louis of Rockers Island and XO Management. "So it makes perfect sense for us to provide a platform for Haiti's most popular group to perform for a broader audience."

In addition to T-VICE, the blockbuster lineup includes Shaggy, Mavado, DJ Khaled, Marcia Griffiths, Fabolous, Admiral Bailey, Iwer George, French Montana,Frankie Paul, I-Octane, Ace Hood, Ghost, Brianna, Tony Matterhorn, Meek Mill, Demarco, 2 Chainz and more.

Best Of The Best Weekend consistently draws visitors from urban centers across the United States, including New York, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, as well as from the Caribbean, South America and Europe. The weekend consists of a series of local parties anchored by a family-oriented, all-ages, day long cultural festival featuring the finest arts, crafts and foods. An estimated 30,000 people are expected to attend this year.

Best Of The Best Weekend 2012 is presented by luxury French vodka brand CIROC. Additional sponsors include Soccer For Change, General Consulate Of Haiti In Miami, TNH (National Television of Haiti), Bartenura and Swiftkick Sneaker Wipes...
