All the interventions had the sole aim of allowing children to use the experiences and ideas of the First Lady, as well as those of adults, for better channel their path in life. Thus, the daily problems that affect them, such as the right to education, child participation in social, cultural, the right to support for disabled children... he First Lady reassured them of the commitment of present Government, in favor of their cause. ![]() Chosen by the different partners of the IBESR, these children were informed about various concerns of the President who strives to give them a prominent place within programs, facilitate their access to education and to the basic needs, integrate in the new public buildings disability services, clear the sidewalks to make it accessible for pedestrians and school children... First Lady continues to believe that children are too often put in the position of spectators, that they must finally, voluntarily, to participate in social life, family and cultural life of their community, they represent the seed of the society and for that deserve special attention in relation to prescribed of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations, November 20, 1989, and ratified by the Haitian government in 1994.
