Haiti - Security : Resurgence of acts of violence in Petit-Goâve
Thursday, June 7, Dimitri Lindor, a young boy living in the street Dessalines prolonged nicknamed "Nan Percin", has been violently attacked at about 7:30 pm at the time he presented himself in a borlette bank located at the street Dessalines. Moreover, Yvon Louis, aka "Zeze couronne" a citizen well known in the city, responsible of a funeral home was the victim of a serious assault, this Friday, June 8 Around 12 am, three people traveling aboard motorcycles attacked, Yvon Louis to Croix-Martyre, locality de Cupidon. They tied up and then beaten. Believing him dead, the bandits buried him up to the neck before fleeing. A woman from the area who saw the victim moaning, has spread the news. People and the police responded quickly to rescue the victim.
