Haiti - Social : Shipwreck off the Bahamas...

Chrislyn Skippings, Spokesman of the Royal Bahamas Police said that a boat left Sunday from the Abacos archipelago, with Haitian migrants aboard, heading towards the coast of Florida, located to less than 300km, sank off the Bahamas.
According the information collected, the boat was carrying at least 28 Haitian migrants. Coast Guard of the United States has dispatched on site a rescue aircraft from Miami and a helicopter from Andros Island. The bodies of 11 of our countrymen were recovered and seven people have been rescued.
Research continues to try to find survivors whose at least 5 children.
