The President Michel Martelly, will leave the country, this Tuesday, July 3, 2012, for "Gros Islet", to St. Lucia, where he will participate officially in the 33rd Conference of Heads of State and Government of the CARICOM, from July 4 to 6. During his stay, the Head of State, at the head of a large delegation, will meet with several counterparts of the region.

Haiti sits on the Bureau of the Conference since 1 July 2012 to become familiar to the many issues and questions addressed by the Bureau. On 1st January 2013, the President Martelly, will occupy the rotating presidency of the Conference until June 30, 2013.
