Ltd., which began its operations on 50 ha with a potential of 20,000 direct jobs and the Haitian company "Peinture Caraïbes S.A." which should begin production soon. In this regard, Henry Claude Muller-Poitvien, the Coordinator of the Commission, responsible for running the park, indicated that a dozen companies have already expressed their interest in coming to settle to Caracol. This tour continued at Park Codevi, near the border with DR, which currently generates 6.500 direct jobs and over 32,000 indirect jobs. Although dominated by Dominican companies, it was recalled to the Mission that the foreign company "Timberland" (foreign capital) was installed in this park, what paves the way of investment, for other international companies. This tour ended with a visit to the Bay of Port-Margot, where Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director of North of the Ministry of Tourism, has not failed to put forward the economic development potential of the region and the opportunities available to investors, particularly in the construction of hotel infrastructure.
