The Political Scientist Mozart De Roneth, believes that this reshuffle could be aimed at strengthening the cohesion within the government team and resolve possible conflicts for better performance. However, he does not exclude that this decision has been made under pressure from international and regional sectors or funders.

The Deputy Akluche Louis-Jeune believes that the Prime Minister by taking control of the Ministry of Planning, has now the flexibility to govern to achieve its goals.

Sauveur Pierre Étienne Coordinator General of the Organization of People in Struggle (OPL), criticism this reshuffle made without explanation "This reshuffle proves that there is a power struggle within the government, which is supported by the international community."
