As a prelude to an agreement to be signed soon between the Government of Haiti through his Minister of Agriculture and the Auburn University in Alabama ; the consul General of Haiti in Atlanta Mr. Gandy Thomas, met this Monday August 6, with Mr. Robert Mcginnis, Senior Counsel of the President of the Auburn University to establish the "modus operandi" of the Protocol of cooperation between the two entities.

The agreement will focus on training in various fields such as : Agro-business, fishing, Construction, catering, Hotel management, and additional training for government officials.

Consul Thomas is expected to Alabama in early October as part of this project.
