Haiti - Energy : 15 of 32 circuits of the EDH already operational

The Directorate General of the EDH informs the public in general that 15 of its 32 circuits are already operational in Port-au-Prince thanks to the work of technicians on the ground. This rehabilitation demonstrates the commitment of engineers and technicians of the institution to restore power in all areas of the capital as soon as possible.

The following neighborhoods are served : Downtown (fully restored), Avenue Christophe (restored), Road of Dalles, Street Monseigneur Guilloux, Hospital Asile Français, Martissant, Peguy-Ville, Road of Frères (partially), Turgeau/Pacot, Downtown of Pétion-Ville, Carrefour Feuille, Delmas 19/31, La Saline/Terminal Varreaux, Cite Soleil and Clercine.

The teams of the EDH are currently working on the following circuits : Upper Delmas/Road of Freres, Montagne Noir, Morne Calvert, Laboule/Road of Kenscoff, Bois Verna/Bois Patate, Bourdon/Museau, Airport Road and Tabarre.

The Directorate General of the EDH and the Technical Directorate thank the private company ECEM S.A. for its invaluable help during the day on Sunday, August 26, 2012 by providing us with additional equipment for free.
