Haiti - Social: The Prime Minister toured the popular neighborhoods 28/08/2012 09:46:49
The Prime Minister and Head of State have among other distributed food kits to hundreds of people, most of whom live in hundreds of people, most of whom live in accommodation camps. On the other hand, Laurent Scheinder, the Head of the Communications at the Ministry of Agriculture recalled yesterday that "[...] The banana, avocado, coffee planattions are devastated, in the Southeast, as well as plantations of corn and sorghum in the West [...] by Wednesday morning we will have all the data [...] we asked the Government to declare the Ile de la Gonave and the South-East as priority intervention area.
