Haiti - Politic : The new Director General of the National Police was ratified

Following his hearing before the Senate Committee, Godson Aurélus was ratified by the Senators. During a plenary session gathering 19 senators, 17 voted for, Jean Charles Moïse abstained, and zero against [the President of the Senate do not vote].

In addition, the Senate has ratified 3 new Ambassadors on 4. They are Carl Henry Guitho (Ambassador to the Holy See), Jean Bernard Ralph Latortue, Ambassador of Haiti to Japan and ean Baptiste Arvel Victor, Ambassador of Haiti to Chile.

Daniel Fouchard [70], the Ambassador designate to represent Haiti in Germany, was not ratified because of its age hat exceeds the age limit of 65 years fixed by the law on the Public Service.

A letter from office of the Senate will soon be sent to the Executive, to inform it of these ratifications.
