Haiti - Football : All Stars of Cité Soleil - Presidency (1-1)

Sunday, the President Michel Martelly, went to Cité Soleil, for an exhibition match at the occasion of the opening of the grand finale of the second edition of the championship of holidays named "Championship of unity" (Championnat de l'unité) sponsored by the Senator John Joël Joseph (West) for the benefit of residents of the area.
The President Martelly was accompanied by his wife Sophia Martelly, his Chief of Staff, Ms. Ann Valérie Timothée Milfort, of some members of the Cabinet, of Godson Oélus, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti and Gonzague Day, Departmental Delegate, the Chief of the State, through his participation, wanted to promote solidarity through sport in this town "I think it was the best moment to assess the condition of the Park of Sports center of Cité Soleil. I walked the field to play this match, there is plenty to do for the Centre and I will ask the Ministry of Sports to address this issue," declared the Head of State.

Led by the President of the Republic, as captain, the team of the Presidency played a great match which ended in a draw (1-1). The first goal was scored in the 10th minute by Pierre Lemaine, of "All stars of Cité Soleil" and the team of the Presidency found its equalization in the stoppage time on a masterful action of Johnny Descollines.
