The Deputy Patrick Joseph (Marmelade / St-Michel | INITE) indicated yesterday that the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe had been convened to explain on current issues, the economic situation and the security.

The Deputy Joseph stated that this convocation, made since last week, was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed to Friday, September 14, at the request of the Prime Minister.

"[...] So far I think the date still stands, there is no problem, the Prime Minister will come tomorrow. We have prepared a document for this meeting [...] because we are very concerned about the economic situation which is very serious, the situation of insecurity and major topical issues such as the Electoral Council and a whole range of issues that are in the news today [...] ourselves, a group of deputies who want to take another direction, we decided to ask questions to find answers, so that the Nation to know how the country is run [...] because in principle we are on vacation [the 4th ordinary session of the 49th Legislature completed its work on 10 September 2012], and therefore, we will have a lot of back and forth in the communes, districts and people will ask us a series of questions and we can not invent answers. It is therefore necessary that we get responses from the mouth of the competent authorities [...]"
