The Ministry of Culture has indicated that $10 million, coming from Petrocaribe funds will be devoted to the rehabilitation of the Rex Théâtre and of former cinema Triomphe.

According to the Ministry, the Rex Théâtre, after the work will become a great cinema and entertainment room while the Triomphe will become a Congress Centre for the conferences, seminars and national and international forum.

According to our information, the Ministry expect the plans of a firm Dominican to launch the work, which should allow a reopening of these two buildings, before the end of 2013.
