The session in Extraordinary National Assembly, convened for Thursday by the President Martelly, by order dated October 9, 2012, has not taken place and has been postponed to Monday, October 15.

According to Levaillant Louis Jeune,he President of the Lower House, he would not have received the invitation in time. In addition, it highlights the lack of consultation with the Executive on the preparation of the agenda while the Lower House had proposals to enter in the agenda, including a draft law on the regulations of the lower house that have been modified in the amended text of the Constitution.

Jude Charles Faustin, the first Secretary of the Office of the Lower House, for his part, confirmed that the invitation came too late for his colleagues who were in their constituency could go to this meeting.

For his part, the Senator Jean William Jeanty, lamented that the appointment of three members of the legislative body to the CEP, is on the agenda of this National Assembly, while problems remain unresolved.
