Haiti - Training : 2013 Community Solutions Professional Fellows Program

The Office of Public Affairs would like to invite interested Haitian citizens to submit an application for the 2013 Community Solutions Program. The Community Solutions Program is a four month professional development program for the best and brightest global community leaders working in Transparency & Accountability, Tolerance & Conflict Resolution, Environmental Issues, and Women and Gender Issues.
Selected candidates will participate in a four month U.S. fellowship with a local nonprofit organization or government agency. They will have the opportunity to experience structured virtual learning and networking via the Online Community Leadership Institute. They will also design and implement follow-on projects back here in Haiti. The program will also include a small outbound component, that will allow up to five U.S. host representatives to travel overseas for approximately two weeks on projects related to the program themes.
The deadline to submit applications is October 31, 2012
