Sunday, October 14, 2012, as every year, Terre des Homme Suisse, organizing the "21st March of Hope for Haiti", which will take place along the Quai du Mont-Blanc. This is the most important manifestation of solidarity in Switzerland, which will bring together nearly 5,000 children and their families. Each walker, mostly children (but adults are welcome), research beforehand of sponsors who promise him an amount for each kilometer traveled. At the end of the march, they collect the money and give it to Terre des Hommes Suisse [Registration available on site the same day from 9.30 a.m.]

For a whole day, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Haiti will appropriate the shores of Lake Léman (Switzerland). The funds raised will contribute to support the Center of action for the development, namely Centre d'accueil Timoun in Ganthier, a small town located about twenty minutes from the Dominican border, the Center Reviv of Kay Fanm, the National School of Arts and Trades (ENAM), the Foyer Maurice Sixto, the Centre of action for the development, the school Dignité, and other projects in Haiti...

For the success of this festival of solidarity of Haiti, Dr. Jean-Bony Alexandre, the new Chargé d'Affaires of the Diplomatic Mission of Haiti, proudly joins the noble initiative of Terre des Hommes. The Municipality of Geneva cooperate fully to the success of this festivity "Dear Haitians, Friends of Haiti, this is a great opportunity to change the image of Haiti in Switzerland and Europe."

The Haitian Gastronomy (Manjé lakay), groups of folk dances, Haitian traditional songs, music concert [kompa, rap, zouk], Haitian fashion show, bands disguised, will be featured. Dr. Jean-Alexandre Bony, thank in advance the members of the Haitian Community in Switzerland, Swiss and Haitian Associations based in Switzerland working for Haiti and all the Friends of Haiti, of Switzerland and of neighboring France that will contribute to the success of this wonderful and friendly recreational day for the benefit of underprivileged children, poor, orphans and vulnerable of Haiti.
